FAQ
What does the ProofSwap embed widget show?
Verified exchange proofs and manual tweet proofs from your project’s Wall of Proof. Backlinks and app feedback are excluded because they are not meaningful as public testimonial cards.
How do I install the widget?
Add a div with data-proofswap-widget and your project slug, plus the proofswap-widget.js script. It takes about 30 seconds. Widget Studio includes tabs for HTML, React/Next, WordPress, and Webflow.
Does the free plan include the embed widget?
Yes. Free includes the list layout, up to 5 testimonials, and a “Verified by ProofSwap” badge. Starter removes the badge and unlocks more layouts; Pro unlocks all six layouts and unlimited testimonials.
Will the widget slow down my site?
No. The script is a small vanilla JS file with no framework dependencies. It renders inside Shadow DOM so it cannot clash with your CSS, and testimonials are CDN-cached.
Can I hide individual proofs or proof types?
Yes. In Widget Studio you can exclude proof types or individual proofs via widget_config. Changes apply on the next widget load.
