What are manual proofs?
Manual proofs let you add testimonials from outside ProofSwap — like verified tweet URLs or custom quotes — directly to your project's wall of proof. They appear alongside exchange-earned proof in your embed widget.
I only have one or two products — is paid worth it?
Paid isn't about listing more — most people here have one or two projects and never hit the limit. It's about what you keep: an indexed project page and wall of proof that stay live even when you go quiet, a badge-free wall embedded on your own site (dedicated testimonial tools start around $29/mo for that alone), and no cap on how much proof you display. Skipping the give-first gate is the convenience on top. At €7.50/month billed annually, the white-label wall alone usually covers it.
What are project credits?
Your first project is free to create. Each additional project costs 1 credit and an open project slot on your plan — the slot is usually the real limit, so credits only matter once you have room for more listings. You earn 1 credit for every proof you give that gets verified, and paid plans add monthly credits. Credits are never spent on receiving proof.
Why is my project pending?
Free tier projects need activation. Give proof to at least 1 project to make your listing visible in the directory. This ensures everyone on ProofSwap actively contributes. Paid plans skip this step — your project goes live immediately.
How do I earn a dofollow backlink?
Give proof to the community. Once you've given at least one proof and your project is live, your project page link becomes dofollow — and it stays that way, because active givers never decay. That's the only way to get it, on any plan: dofollow is earned by participating, never sold. Delisted projects revert to nofollow until you give proof again.
